Love sunflare too! What a beautiful wintery view to wake up to. Love how you composed this shot.

I think I remember reading to use a really high f-stop? Like f-22+ to get the best “rays” on the flare. It has the same effect as squinting your eyes while looking at a source of light. I tried this with my Christmas tree this year, and it really did work! Oh, and you can also add sunflare in PP (in PS, anyways, not sure about the program you’re using. ?). Not that your sunflare needs help- lol. Just some things I’ve been thinking about along the sunflare lines. :)

Hey thanks Sarah! I’m sure there is a way to add sunflair in my software, but I hadn’t heard about the f-stop, so thanks for that tip. Stu and I were browsing some of the shops in Sedona when we were there a couple weekends ago and saw some photos that a local artist was selling in a shop. There were 2 different photos with, surprisingly, the very same sun flair. ;-) Plus the sun was “flairing” BEHIND where the obvious light source was coming from in the photo. I thought it was kinda hokey actually, but maybe someone liked it and actually paid money for the ‘doctored’ pictures. All that to say while I’m not a “purist” I still don’t like overly “tweaked” photos. :-)
